ZAYIN (7th) Blog 22-23

This past weekend students completed a wonderful mitzvah in the sukkah by participating in its construction. After developing a better understanding why we build the sukkah and some of its requirements, we walked over to Temple Israel’s parking lot and helped the Men’s Club with at least one part. In the coming week we will again visit the sukkah to say the blessing before shaking the lulav and error. Additionally, they will participate in the Sunday morning minyan (another on of our class discussions), to celebrate the holiday of Hoshana Rabbah.
