Temple Israel Men’s Club brings men together to build friendships, give back, and experience Jewish life in ways that are engaging, relevant, and fun. Whether you’re new to the Temple or a longtime member, there’s a place for you at the Men's Club.

Tradition in Action: Signature Men's Club Programs

Men's Club blends Jewish ritual with community spirit and real-world impact. Our signature programs include:

– Sukkah Building & Breakdown – hands-on mitzvah work for the whole congregation

– Worldwide Wrap – teaching the meaning and practice of wrapping tefillin.

– Men’s Club Shabbat – an annual service led by the Men's Club, followed by a congregational Kiddush

– Anshei Darom Retreat – a meaningful Shabbat weekend in the North Georgia mountains with fellow FJMC clubs

– Yom Gemilut Hassadim – preparing meals and performing acts of lovingkindness

– Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle Distribution – honoring Holocaust memory and education

Through these programs, Jewish tradition isn’t just remembered — it’s lived, shared, and passed on.

Service is central to who we are. The Men's Club proudly supports and leads initiatives such as:

– The Lloyd Scher Toy Drive, bringing joy to children in need

– The Irv Swartz Memorial Challah Sale, raising funds for meaningful causes

– Partnerships with Temple Israel’s Social Action Team

– Volunteer support for Temple fundraising and community programs
