From I-85,
take I-485,
to the Providence Road (Route 16) Exit,
turn NORTH to
cross Ballantyne Commons,
proceed NORTH to
cross Rt. 51 (Pineville-Matthews Road)
cross Rea Road, then just past the 3rd traffic light (at Shalom Park),
you’ll find Temple Israel on your RIGHT.

From I-77S/US-21S (from Uptown Charlotte),
take I-277
to College Street,
turn away from the city,
at the light, turn LEFT onto Morehead Street,
cross Kings,
proceed straight at Providence (Morehead becomes Providence Road).
Proceed SOUTH,
cross Wendover, Sharon Amity and Sardis/Fairview.
At the next light after Sardis/Fairview,
turn left into Shalom Park.

Once on Shalom Park, from the light at Providence Road:
Go down the curved drive,
make a LEFT at the stop sign (at the T).
Drive .1 mile and Temple Israel is on your LEFT.
Please proceed down the drive to our Administrative Entrance.

Note: The Temple Israel Religious School building will be on your RIGHT, a three-story red brick building across from the Temple.  However, due to a one-way traffic flow, please turn RIGHT at Shalom Park stop sign (at the T) and follow traffic signs around to the LEFT (essentially 270 degrees). Pass the Butterfly Sculpture and the Temple Israel Religious School will be directly in front of you.  After you enter the building, the Temple Israel Religious School office is just off the main lobby to the left.

Coming from South Carolina, on I-77N, either take I-485 Outer Loop, toward Concord, NC and follow directions for I-485 above, OR Proceed North on I-77N past I-485 exit, to Tyvola Road Exit.
Turn RIGHT onto Tyvola Road.
Cross South Blvd and Park Road.
Tyvola becomes Fairview.
Pass the South Park mall,
cross Sharon, Colony and Carmel.
Turn RIGHT onto Providence Road.
At the next traffic light, turn LEFT into Shalom Park (See directions above, once on Shalom Park.)
