Join the Temple Israel Family

OUR HOUSE. YOUR HOME.

Founded in 1895 by visionaries, Temple Israel is a welcoming, diverse, innovative, and modern Conservative synagogue.  We welcome you to enjoy the sense of community, engage with Judaism, and transform your life through Torah, worship, and gemilut hasadim, acts of loving kindness.

Our members come from all walks of life, and all parts of the globe, and that diversity is what makes Temple Israel a unique kehillah kedosha. Jews by birth and Jews by choice, native-born Southerners and those from other parts of the United States and beyond, traditional, non-traditional, and dual-faith families all find their spiritual bayit at Temple Israel.

We have just two kinds of members—those who are already part of the family and those who have not yet joined us.  Current members have the ability to log in to their accounts to view statements, make donations, or update contact information.   If you have not yet joined Temple Israel, we invite to you explore our offerings and see how you can take part in our dynamic programming and services. The best way to show support of Temple Israel is by becoming a member. When you join the Temple Israel family, you will become part of a community with traditions that go back more than 120 years.  We can’t wait to welcome you to our strong synagogue family that will continue for generations to come.

Please fill out this membership form so we can learn a little more about you, and return it to SueAnn Burroughs at
sburroughs@templeisraelnc.org. Our membership categories can be found here
