NY, NY –
H. L. Miller Cantorial School and College of Jewish Music of The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) presents Craig Taubman in Concert, at which singer-songwriter Craig Taubman will debut an original liturgical composition by JTS student Gil Ezring.
Through a workshop at JTS, Gil was chosen to collaborate with Craig on a new song to be premiered at this concert. Gil wrote an original piece over the summer, “Shalom Rav,” and together they edited and polished it through a long process informed by Craig’s expertise and Gil’s creative energy. It will be performed for the first time at JTS on Thursday.
