SHABBAT SHIRAH - January 19, 2019
On Saturday, January 19 we will celebrate Shabbat Shirah (the Sabbath of Singing) and Martin Luther King Day. We will highlight themes of freedom as we celebrate a very special musical moment in our history.
Please join us for services brimming with extraordinary music led by Cantor Lissek and Rabbi Kornsgold, featuring Monty Bennett on piano, our Temple Israel choir, and special musical guests!
Shabbat Shirah is named such because we chant the song of the sea Shirat Hayam in Parashat B’shalach on that day.
