REOPENING PLANS

Dear Congregational Family,

In the face of Covid, our congregational family has been able to stay connected through Livestream, Zoom, and
in-person services, and religious school. We have been delighted to see more and more congregants in person on
Shabbat and Holiday services. The generous donation, from Arlene & Milton Berkman to enhance our audio/visual
capabilities, has enabled congregants to Livestream to hear the meaningful words from Rabbi Wolk and the beautiful
voice of Cantor Lissek.

The CDC’s new recommendations and changes to the state's mandates have allowed us to modify our plan and
embrace newly allowed freedoms while maintaining a welcoming environment for congregants’ varying comfort
levels. The next phase of our building reopening plan will begin on Wednesday, June 2. We will no longer require
waivers, service pre-registration, attendance logs, capacity limits, health screenings, or social distancing.
Masks will continue to be required through June.

We will continue to monitor the Covid statistics for our zip code residences and confer with our medical advisors for
future relaxation of Covid restrictions.  Be sure to check the weekly email blast for updates and service schedules.
We will have specific information forthcoming regarding the High Holidays which begin at sundown on Monday,
September 6, and will include in-person services.

We continue to encourage all eligible congregants to get vaccinated. As with each step of this pandemic, we will
work through these next steps as a community. By following the guidelines we have set out, we show our respect
to, and caring for, one another.
